We are delighted to invite you to submit papers for the Democracy, Minority Rights & Their Development organized by DMRD International, Canada, to take place in Ottawa University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, from March 20th to 22nd 2012.

Papers accepted for the conference will also be considered for publication in our international journal, the Journal of International Social Affairs.

Papers should be submitted in Word Document or .pdf format to info@dmrd.org  and lauraabell@dmrd.org a corresponding author should be identified.  Papers should be not less than 10 and not more than 30 pages in length and should be accompanied by an abstract of between 100 and 150 words, summarizing the subject, research methods and conclusions of the paper.  A bibliography must be included and all references must be in accordance with Harvard Referencing System conventions.  Papers must not have been submitted to or accepted for publication by any other journal.

Papers are invited in all areas relevant to Democracy, Minority Rights and Their Development and the pursuit of equitable and sustainable economic development, including the following areas:
